Page Views / Post Views Counter Widget For Blogger.
As a blogger for very long time, I’m sure that every blogger wants to know how many times his new post viewed.
A lot of visitors contacted me about this widget and asked me if it’s possible to do it in blogger.
So today i’ll show you how to do it in blogger,
It’s very easy to do and there are 2 styles for this widget.
This is very easy to do it two steps, step 1, choose your widget style,
and step 2, pate it’s code in your blogger template code.
- Style 1. ( With Icon ) code,

- Style 2. ( No Icon ) code,

Please copy your widget code and follow instructions in step 2.
Now go to your blogger account then navigate to, Layout >> Edit html, And before doing any thing you must check Expand Widget Templates box.
And find the next Code
<div class='post-header-line-1'/>
And after it, paste your widget code You can get the widget code from previous step
What, If you didn’t find the code above in your template, The try to find the following,
<data:post.body/>
And paste the widget code Before it.
, after doing this, please click Save Template and you are done.
you can see a demo for this widget( click here ) , in this demo we use style 1 with the icon,

Hey MAX nice tool.. was wanted to use it frm a long time.. But i wants it to show the views in the home page.. i mean not only in the post.. but in the homepage itself with all the posts..!! is it posible..!!
@ HB and Golden, this can be done easily, you just have to remove 2 parts of the code,
the above widget code start with the following part.
and ends with the following part.
please remove the both parts and the widget will start appearing in home page too.
Hi! Thanks for the reply. I tried your suggestion. The widget showed on the homepage indeed but the page views were wrong. Like on the top post, it will say 6 views (although it will say 16 views when you click on that same article), the next post will say 5 views, and so on and so forth.

Amazing! I just tried it on my blog and it worked. But I hope you can make something where the widget can be seen in the homepage and not only when you open that specific article. Thanks anyway though. I still like it.

hi Robin Hood, sorry for that but i didn’t delete any of your comments, it’s my spam protection software, your comments looked like a spam for the soft ware so it added your comment to waiting approve list, sorry.
This code is a hack, it opens an advertisement on any reload!!! Too good to be true!
sorry for all, it’s not a hack but the site where the script is hosted has added an advertisements to all hosted files. so i’ll close the comments here and then add another new tutorial soon about the same tool.

buddy this script is hacked , i dont know what happen it is your trick or anything else
. but i puted this script in my blog ,but few days it worked,but suddenly it generate pop up advertisement in my blog,when i remove this script ,my blog working perfectly

I only see the word ‘Views’ when I go into my comments to see how many views I have on a post. No number shows up. I chose the option with no icon. Help please.
