This past couple of weeks I’ve noticed quite a number of people who were looking for a way to remove the “Subscribe to: Posts (Atom)” link from their blogs. There are 2 ways to do this — either add or delete an existing line of code in your template. I’ll show you how to do both and let you decide which one you’d prefer to go for.

Option 1: Add a line of code
1. Login to your Blogger account
2. Go to Design > Edit HTML
3. Check the box which says “Expand Widget Templates”
4. Press Ctrl + F to look for the following line of code:

</b:skin>

5. Then paste this line just above (before) it:

.feed-links{display:none !important;}

6. Save your template and check your blog

Option 2: Delete an existing line of code

  1. Login to your Blogger account
  2. Go to Design > Edit HTML
  3. Check the box which says “Expand Widget Templates”
  4. Press Ctrl + F to look for the following line of code AND then delete it:
    <b:include data=’feedLinks’ name=’feedLinksBody’/>
  5. Save your template and check your blog

If you ever change your mind and want to bring it back, just type/paste the code back again just below this line (use Ctrl + F to find it):

    Really helpful, thanks for this, Keith!

  2. Who uses that anyway, really ?
