Blogger has recently made a minor and almost unnoticeable change on our templates, specifically on our Profile gadget. If you look over to the left side of your profile name you’ll now see a little uppercase ‘B’, which is the Blogger logo. Now it may seem trivial but some users didn’t seem to like having that there. So for today’s tutorial, we’ll show you how you can remove that Blogger icon.

The process is fairly easy and you need not have any coding knowledge or experience to accomplish this. All it takes is a little bit of CSS code. And I do mean ‘little’.

Head over to your Blogger dashboard, go to Template > Customize > Advanced > Add CSS

Copy/paste the CSS code below:
background-image:none !important;

As you paste the code you’ll notice that the Blogger icon is now gone.

The CSS property background-image:none is the one that removes the logo while the second line (padding-left:0px) is there to get rid of the space left that separated your name from the logo.

Save your template by clicking the ‘Apply to Blog’ button and that’s it, you’re done! It’s as simple as that. Hope this helps. And before I forget, last but not least, thanks to Deepak Kamat for the share.
