One good way to increase your website hits and page ranking is to use Google Analytics. But how about getting your visitors to return to your blog? Well, it goes down to making your site memorable by adding ‘hooks.’ One such hook that can help get your blog remembered well is the use of a good tagline.
First off, a blog tagline is that short description of your website usually placed underneath your blog title. It helps give new visitors and idea of what your blog is about at a glance. If you can come up with a catchy phrase or sentence, your readers will have a better chance of remembering your blog even if they forget its name.
Taglines also allow the reader to locate and visit your site after they key it in on the search tab, because you have the option of including keywords in your tagline.
Take note that your tagline should be straight to the point and honest about your blog’s content. It should also convey your passion, and at the same time must offer something unique about your blog. There are several free online resources for writing a good blog tagline so there’s no reason why you shouldn’t take advantage of this method to increase your subscribers. Good luck!
