Last time around we’ve shown you the technique on how to add a comment counter to Disqus, now we’ll show you how you can disable Disqus comment count. It’s a very simple technique via Hassam Ahmad Awan which is useful in case you don’t want it for your Blogger blog.

Below is the step:

  1. Go to Blogger Dashboard > Design > Edit HTML
  2. Find this code below
<a class='dsq-comment-count comment-link commentslink' expr:href='data:post.url + &quot;#disqus_thread&quot;'/>

 

3. Delete that code. It is the one that makes Disqus comment count show up.
4. Save template

Reminder: Before doing any changes in your template, do save a backup first.

    Go to Blogger Dashboard > Design > Edit HTML
    Find this code below

    And in DISQUS 2012, you can use this simple CSS code to block the nº of comments…

    search in the code by ]]>

    Paste above and the following code

    . comment-link {
    white-space: nowrap;
    display: block;
    }

    This code will remove the “0 comments and 0 reaction” of Homepage
