The lightbox is one of a website’s best tools for displaying your photos, images, and graphics, and Blogger has its own lightbox plugin for posting photos.
While this plugin is very useful for image-heavy blogs, some site owners don’t like the idea of using it on their site, or they may already have installed a custom plugin which might conflict with the default lightbox. So here’s a quick technique I’ve learned from Harish of Way2Blogging on how you can disable the Blogger Lightbox.
- Login to Blogger > Dashboard > Click on More Options dropdown menu > Settings.
- Select Post and Comments > Showcase images with Lightbox? > set it to NO.
- Save settings.
