No, it doesn’t have anything to do with bringing home some food. Google Takeout is actually a tool that lets Google products users (e.g. YouTube, Google Drive, Picasa, etc.) to export data from one Google product/service to another.
Although Blogger already had an export tool, you’re still required to log in to Blogger to be able to use it. But now that Google has included Blogger into the list of its services that Takeout covers, you don’t have to visit or log in to Blogger anymore.
By exporting data from your Blogger blog using Takeout, an Atom XML file will be made available to you. Aside from individual posts, you can also use Takeout to export a single blog or page of your choice.
