Extra News Responsive Template

Template Futures

The template I’d like to feature for today is designed by ThemeWich and authored by MKR/IvyThemes. It is a beautifully designed responsive template that, in my opinion, effectively and brilliantly utilizes the lightbox feature. At first glance, you’d think that it’s designed primarily for image-oriented websites like photography blogs but it really isn’t. In fact, it also works great for general news and topics. The lightbox provides you with a placeholder for your important and popular articles. It gets the viewer’s undivided attention upon loading as it fills most of the browser window, sharing it with the header and top navigation menu.

The thumbs in the lightbox also display the basic information of your articles such as the title, date posted, author, and number of comments. By scrolling down, your visitors get to see the rest of your website’s content to find the 3-column footer that contains your latest posts and the sidebar where your social sharing widget, category list, and archive, can be allocated. Other features include a search box, back to top button, and bottom page navigation.

If you’d like to get more info about it and download the template, you can go visit Ivythemes.
