Looking for a good-looking magazine template for your next website? Then get a load of the DIYWP Blogger template designed by Lasantha Bandara of Premium Blogger Templates. As you may have guessed based on its name, the look and feel of the design is adapted from one of WordPress’ popular themes. It is a nice 2-column layout template with a straight-forward concept: a medium-sized image slider with the social media widget clearly visible right beside it together with the ever so essential search box function.
It comes with standard widgets located at the right sidebar consisting of the Popular Post widget, Archives, and Labels, all very helpful features for the user for easy navigation within the site. Below it are the RSS and Subscribe buttons together with the social sharing buttons. The posts come with an image thumbnail, jump link (or ‘Read more’ button), and comment section.
The template is highly customizable, from the header logo and favicon right down to the meta tags. One caveat is that it is fixed width, thus it won’t adapt to different screen sizes. In other words, it’s not responsive.
